MEET OUR TEAM

Julia Wu, L.Ac.

Julia Wu, L.Ac., is a Board Certified, Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of California. In addition to her extensive training in Chinese Medicine, graduating with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Southern California University of Health Sciences, Julia received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California Berkeley.

She chose to specialize in Traditional Chinese Medicine because of the connection to her cultural heritage, and because of her deep-seated belief in natural holistic health care. Julia was particularly drawn to the fact that Chinese Medicine is tailored to each individual, is completely natural, and always targets the root of the problem.

During her training as a practitioner of Chinese Medicine, Julia devoted much of her time to the scientific research of the efficacy of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, and how to successfully communicate the remarkable results that acupuncture and herbs can achieve in patients to the western scientific and healthcare communities.

As a practitioner, Julia utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to healing.  She believes that a complete approach to healing, including acupuncture, cupping, Tui-Na, herbology, nutritional counseling, and life style recommendations, is the best approach to promoting overall health and wellness.

Dr. Seyoon Rhee, DC

Dr. Seyoon Rhee is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in the state of California, receiving his diploma from Southern California University of Health Sciences. He also studied Dietetics and Nutritional Science as an undergraduate student while building his career as a strength/powerlifting coach/trainer.

As a former competitive powerlifter, he’s ranked number one in his division and broke four world records. However, that came with a price. He started noticing aches and pains in his body after transitioning into a coaching role. He’s sought treatment from a variety of doctors with countless visits, scans, and exams with not much luck. And so, he decided to take the matter into his own hands and redirect his studies toward healing the body. After extensive training in the field of musculoskeletal rehabilitation and postural restoration, he’s set on helping patients by giving them the care they deserve.

Dr. Rhee focuses on tackling the root cause of the issue at hand and providing the patients with tools to help them stay healthy and active. He utilizes chiropractic manipulations and manual/soft tissue therapies to make impressionable changes to acute and chronic injuries, followed by movement-based exercise protocols to help them stick.
